My favourite song: MORE THAN WORDS...

More than Words

By Extreme

Saying I love you

Is not the words I want to hear from you

It's not that I want you

Not to say, but, if you only knew

How easy, it would be to show me how you feel

More than words, is all you have to do to make it real

Then you wouldn't have to say, that you love me

Cos I'd already know

What would you do, if my heart was torn in two

More than words to show you feel

That your love for me is real

What would you say,

if I took those words away

Then you couldn't make things new

Just by saying I love you

More than words...

Now that I've tried to, talk to you and make you understand

All you have to do is close your eyes

And just reach out your hands, and touch me

Hold me close don't ever let me go

More than words, is all I ever needed you to show

Then you wouldn't have to say, that you love me

Cos I'd already know

More than words...

More than words...

Band that sings it...

Extreme sings “More than words”, it isn´t my favourite band, and I don´t like any other song of them, but I can say about Extreme that is an American rock band that achieved popularity in the 80s and 90s. This band was one of the most successful bands from the early 1990s, selling over 10 million albums worldwide. Extreme rose to fame with its 1990 release Pornografitti, in that album also featured the acoustic ballad hit single "More Than Words", which reached #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 in the United States

Explaining the meaning of the song...

This song says that there are more than one way to communicate what we feel, words don´t say all of us, to say I love you is nothig compare a kiss or a touch (more than words). More than words is LOVE.

The song means to me...

that we don´t need to talk, a kiss, a touch, a look, they have their own languaje, we have to think the words, but they don´t express what we feel. I always forget this, but this song remember me that I have to show my feelings to the people that I love.
